Kashmiri Dum Aloo Can be made with potatoes boiled, ghee, fennel seeds, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, black pepper powder, ginger paste, yogurt, all spice powder, fresh coriander leaves and green chilies chopped.

Recipe Of Kashmiri Dum Aloo:

Preparation time 25-35 minutes
Serve 4-5 people

Ingredients:

Potatoes (boiled) 1/2 kg
Ghee 3-4 tbsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Cumin pwdr 1/2 tsp
Corriander pwdr 1 tsp
Turmeric pwdr 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Black pepper pwdr 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Yogurt 125 grm
All spices pwdr 1/2 tsp
Corriander leaves chopped 1/4 bunch
Green chillies chopped 2-3

Instruction For Making:

1. Boil potatoes and prick using toothpick.

2. Heat 3-4 tbsp ghee in a wok, add in boil potatoes and shallow fry till golden brown.

3. Now remove the potatoes and keep aside.

4. add fennel seeds, cumin powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Mix well and fry it for 1-2 minutes.

5. Now add yogurt, salt, and fried potatoes. Mix well and simmer on low flame for 2-3 minutes.

6. Dish it out, sprinkle with all spices powder, chopped green chillies and chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot.
