Masalaydar Bhaji can be made with turnip, carrots, peas, tomatoes, fenugreek leaves, brown sugar, whole red chili, salt, green chili, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, fried red chili and oil.

Recipe Of Masalaydar Bhaji:

Preparation time 35-40 minutes
Serves 4-5 people

Ingredients:

Turnip ½ kg
Green Peas ½ kg
Tomatoes ½ kg
Carrot ½ kg
Fenugreek 250 gm
Brown Sugar 1 tbsp
Whole Red Chili 8
Salt 1 tsp
Green Chili 4
Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Fried Red Chili 1 tsp
Oil ½ cup

Instruction For Cooking:

1. First heat ½ cup oil.

2. Add ½ turnip, ½ kilo peas ½ kilo carrot and keep aside.

3. Into the remaining oil, add 1tsp mustard seeds when the aroma of the seeds is released add ½ kg chopped tomatoes and mix well.

4. Add 1tbsp brown sugar, 8 round red chilies, 1 tsp salt, 4 green chilies, 1 tbsp cumin and 1tbsp chopped red chilies.

5. Add the fried vegetables and let it simmer for 20 minutes.

6. Sprinkle with fenugreek and serve.

Variation In Masalaydar Bhaji:

Masalaydar Bhaji can be made more variable by adding some other ingredients like potato and coriander and mint leaves for garnishing.
