Recipe Of Mocha Cup Cakes:

Preparation time 45-50 minutes
Serves 4-5 people

Ingredients:

Water 8 fl oz
Caster sugar 8 oz
Butter 4 oz
Cocoa powder 2 tbsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Coffee powder 2 tbsp
Flour 8 oz
Baking powder 1 tsp
Eggs 2

Icing:

Chocolate 5 oz
Unsalted butter 5 oz
Golden syrup 2 tbsp
Chocolate chips to decorate OR
Chocolate-dipped coffee beans to decorate

Instruction For Making:

1. Heat water and sugar till sugar is dissolved.

2. Add in butter, cocoa powder, baking soda, coffee powder and boil.

3. Reduce heat, simmer, remove from heat and cool.

4. Beat the flour and eggs in the cooled mixture.

5. Spoon batter in cupcake cases and bake at 180 degrees C for 20 minutes or till risen and firm.

6. Cool and then ice.

7. For the icing, melt chocolate, butter and golden syrup in a bowl set on a pan of simmering water.

8. Cool and then spread over cooled cupcakes and decorate with chocolate-dipped coffee beans or chocolate chips.
