Adraki Jheengay is a little spicy with the flavor of ginger with a medium based gravy made by tomatoes and yogurt to give it more taste and make it delicious and colorful by adding green chillies.

Adraki Jheengay Made With:

Adraki Jheengay can be made with jheengay (prawns), tomatoes, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, crushed cumin seeds, turmeric powder, salt, oil, finely chopped ginger, green chillies.

Recipe Of Adraki Jheengay:

Preparation time 30-45 minutes
Served 4-5 people

Ingredients:

Prawns 1 kg
Tomatoes 250 gms
Yogurt ½ cup
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder 1tsp
Crushed cumin seeds 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Oil ½ stp
Finely Chopped Ginger 4 tbsp
Green Chillies 6

Instruction For Cooking:

1. In a pan, add prawns, water, tomatoes, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, crushed cumin seeds and cover it.

2. When prawns are tender, water dries in a separate pan heat oil add finely chopped ginger, green chillies cut in lengthwise.

3. Sprinkle in the prepared prawns , remove from the stove.

Variations In Adraki Jheengay:

Adraki Jheengay is already a very versatile and easy to cook recipe of seafood/shrimp/prawn, but you can make it more variable in taste and color by adding few more ingredients according to your choice and your taste buds. You can also add finely chopped fresh coriander leaves for garnishing and also lemon slices to make your Adraki Jheengay more tasty and colorful.
