Aloo Chana Pulao can be made with potatoes, chick peas, rice, yellow food color, mint leaves fresh, oil, bay leaves, star anise, green chillies, cardamoms, onion, black peppercorns, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, black cumin seeds, nutmeg and mace powder and salt.

Recipe Of Aloo Chana Pulao:

Preparation time 45-55 minutes
Served 5-6 people

Ingredients:

Potatoes ½ kg
Chick Peas (Boiled) ½ kg
Rice (Boiled) 1 kg
Yellow Food Color 1 pinch
Mint Leaves 1 bunch
Oil 1 cup
Bay Leaves 2
Star Anise Seeds 4
Green Chilies 10
Cardamoms 6
Onion 250 gms
Black Peppercorns 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Black Cumin Seeds 2 tsp
Nutmeg and Mace ½ tsp
Salt as required

Instruction For Cooking:

1. In a pan, heat oil add fry onions until golden brown .

2. Now, add ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, nutmeg and mace powder, bay leaves, black pepper corns, black cumin seeds, cardamoms and fry.

3. Then, add boiled chick peas, and potatoes.

4. Now add mint leaves, green chilies spread the chick peas and boiled rice.

5. Then 1 pinch yellow food color, In the end, let it simmer for half an hour.

Variation In Aloo Chana Pulao:

Aloo Chana Pulao is already a most versatile dish but you can also make it more variable by adding few more ingredients to make it more delicious and colorful. You can add plums and fresh coriander leaves while putting Aloo Chana Pulao on dum and also you can garnish it with boil eggs to make it more healthy and variable.
