Recipe Of Badam Firni:
Preparation time 40-50 minutes
Serves 4-5 people
Kewra essence 1/2 tsp
Green cardamom crushed 1 tsp
Milk 3-4 cup
Rice 2-4 tbsp
Blanched almonds sliced 1 cup
Sugar 5-6 tbsp or as required
Instruction For Cooking:
1. Soak rice in water for few hours, then drain water and grind rice into a smooth paste.
2. In a non-stick saucepan add milk. Over a moderatly low heat add rice, sugar and cardamom and stir constantly till milk turns thick.
3. Remove from heat and add almonds.
4. Put in serving bowl and chill.
Variation In Badam Firni:
The original Badam Firni is always reamin same and eaten most but there are numbers of variations which makes this dessert more tasty which includes pistachios, gulab rose water, chocolate, mango. apple and banana and other nuts or dry fruits of your own choice.
