Recipe Of Cucumber Raita:
Preparation time 10 minutes
Serves 4-5 people
Oil 2 tbsp
Yogurt 2 cups
Red chillies 2-3
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Curry leaves 3-4 springs
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Green chillies 3-4
Instruction For Cooking:
1. Add yogurt in a mixing bowl and whisk the yogurt well. Keep aside.
2. Peel the skin of cucumber and cut them in to small pieces. Add in the yogurt.
3. Seasoned with salt to taste finely chopped green chillies and mix well.
4. Take a frying pan, heat little oil in a pan and when the oil gets hot add mustard and cumin seeds, when they start crackle add in dry red chillies and fresh curry leaves and when its lets out a nice aroma pour this in to the yogurt.
5. Serve chilled.
Variation In Cucumber Raita:
You can make this Cucumber Raita more variable by adding some other ingredients. You can season with coriander leaves, mint leaves, pepper and other fresh herbs and spices.
