Cutlets Allahabadi are the most famous and traditional recipe of Allahabad’s cuisine. Cutlets Allahabadi is extremely simple and gets ready in a minutes when once you have your potatoes boiled and mashed. This Cutlets Allahabadi is quite spicy and a little different from the regular cutlets.

Cutlets Allahabadi Made With:

Cutlets Allahabadi can be made with potatoes, red chilli powder, cumin powder, roasted flour, egg, green chillies, Sesame, almond roasted and chopped, currant, salt, black pepper, cream, fresh coriander leaves finely chopped and oil for frying.

Recipe Of Cutlets Allahabadi:

Preparation time 30-40 minutes
Serves 5-6 people

Ingredients:

Boil Potatoes ½ kg
Eggs 2
Green Chili 4
Sesame 1 cup
Flour (Roasted) 1/ 2 cup
Cumin 1 tsp
Chopped red chili 1tsp
Almond (Roasted, Chopped) 1tbsp
Currants 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Black Pepper ½ tsp
Cream 2 tbsp
Green Coriander 4 tbsp
Oil as required

Instruction For Cooking:

1. Boil ½ kg potatoes.

2. Once softened them to the mashed potatoes add 1tsp cumin , ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper ,1tsp chopped red chilies, 4 tbsp coriander, ½ cup flour, 1 tbsp almond, 1tbsp currants, 2tbsp cream, 4 green chilies and mix well.

3. Now make small cutlets of the potato mixture well.

4. Now coat the cutlets with flour and dip them in the beaten eggs mixture then coat the cutlets with Sesame seeds.

5. Heat oil in a wok and fry the cutlets.
