Date Ice Cream Cake
Oh i just loved it all the ice cream cakes and especially this Date Ice Cream Cake because this can be made by my ownself very first time and seriously it turned out very very much delicious yummmyyy..... This Date Ice Cream Cake is very much easy to made at homes because of its method and ingredients which can be easily available in your kitchen and at nearby shop of your home.
Ingredients
- banana (sliced & frozen) - 4
- sponge cake - 1
- dates (pitted & coarsely chopped) - 170 grams
- vanilla ice cream - 1 litre
- cocoa powder - 3 tbsp
- extra cocoa powder - to dust
Instructions
1. Line the base and sides of a loaf pan with foil or cling, allowing it to overhang slightly.
2. Cut cake into layers to fit in the loaf pan. Line the base of the prepared pan with a cake layer.
3. Place frozen banana slices in a food processor and process, until smooth and creamy.
4. Transfer to a large bowl. Add the ice-cream and dates and stir until combined.
5. Spoon ice-cream mixture over the cake in the pan and smooth the surface.
6. Dust with cocoa powder. Cover with foil and place in the freezer for 8 hours or until firm.
7. Use paper to lift ice-cream cake from the pan.
8. Transfer to a serving platter.
9. Dust with extra cocoa powder, if necessary.
10. Cut into slices to serve.
