Dry Arvi Made With:

Dry Arvi can be made with arvi, fresh coriander leaves, green chilies, oil, carom seeds, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, dry mango powder, salt and lemon juice.

Recipe of Dry Arvi:

Preparation time 30-35 minutes
Serves 4-5 people

Ingredients:

Colocassia (arvi) 500 grams
Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
Green chilies 2
Oil 4 tbsp
Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder 2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Dry mango powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon 1

Instruction For Cooking:

1. Wash and boil arvi. Peel and press between palms.

2. Heat oil, add carom seeds, chopped green chillies and the pressed arvi.

3. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, dry mango powder and mix well. Reduce heat, cover and cook for five minutes.

4. Add salt, juice of lemon and mix.

5. Add chopped coriander leaves.

6. Remove from heat and keep it covered for a while before serving.
