- vanilla custard powder - 50 gram
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 tbsp
- brown sugar - 80 gram
- milk - 3/4 cup
Instructions
1. Sift together flour, vanilla custard powder and baking powder.
2. Beat butter, add brown sugar, milk and mix well till sugar dissolved.
3. Add sifted flour and mix well.
4. Pour this into a greased baking dish.
5. Bake at 200 degrees C for 25 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool.

I have tried this recipe. The cake was very dense and firm. It did not rise. I think it would benefit by adding baking soda since its eggless. Pls suggest how much soda would be needed for the above measurements.
