Shakarkandi Ka Halwa can be made with sweet potatoes, cardamoms, pistachios, crushed coconut, khoya, sugar, ghee, rose water and dry milk powder.

Recipe Of Shakarkandi Ka Halwa:

Preparation time 35-45 minutes
Serves 5-6 people


Sweet Potatoes (Boiled) 2 kg
Cardamoms 6
Pistachios 50 gms
Crushed Coconut 100 gms
Khoya 250 gms
Sugar 250 gms
Ghee 250 gms
Rose Water 1 tbsp
Dry Milk Powder 2 cup

Instruction For Cooking:

1. Heat ghee, add boiled sweet potatoes, cardamoms and fry.

2. Now, add sugar and keep cooking. When sugar syrup dries add chopped coconut, khoya and mix well.

3. In the end add rose water, dry milk powder, and turn off the heat.

4. Pour in a serving dish sprinkle pistachios and serve it.

Variation In Shakarkandi Ka Halwa:

Shakarkandi Ka Halwa you can make more variable by adding cashew nuts to make it more helathy and delicious in taste and you can also use ghee (clarified Butter) to make this Shakarkandi Ka Halwa more healthy and aromatic in taste.
